Delete your account

This page is for the Uchaguzi360 app and website, from Stelden EA Ltd. It tells you how to delete your account and what happens to your information.

How to ask

1. Open our data protection request form.
2. Give your name and the phone number you sign in with, and write “Please delete my account”.
3. We contact you on that number to confirm it is you.
4. We delete your account within 14 days and tell you when it is done.

You can do this even if you no longer have the app. You can also write to us at privacy@uchaguzi360.co.ke.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in and your account.
• The phones linked to your account, and your notifications.
• Your name and phone number, wherever your account holds them.

What is kept, and for how long

• What you did for a campaign, such as reports, tasks and check-ins, stays with that campaign without your name or number, until the campaign’s own data is deleted, 30 days after its subscription ends.
• Billing, payment and tax records are kept for at least five years, as tax law requires.
• Records that belong to a campaign, such as joining its contacts, giving to it or booking a place at its event. Ask the campaign through its own page.

If you own a campaign account

We contact you first, because its campaigns and subscription must be handed over or closed before your account can be deleted.
